In the meantime, you can check out “Staring At The Sun”, their latest single and video, here: https://acres.ffm.to/staring. Frontman Ben Lumber says, “The Host represents a bold step in a new direction for us as a band, we’ve always pushed ourselves to evolve with every album and never write the same record twice. This time the process was unlike anything we’ve done before, working with Landon Tewers brought a fresh perspective and added a new flair to our sound that we’re really excited about!” Acres is also heading out on the road alongside The Devil Wears Prada this spring, followed by a run with Beartooth. Empyrean Sanctum has just announced Detachment From Reality, their new album set for release on April 18th. Founding Guitarist/Composer Justin Kellerman says of their latest single, “‘Heart Of Gold’ is a dark, heavy, progressive track that explores greed and what we as humans are capable of in the endless pursuit of self interest. There are tons of hints of all the musical aspects that appear throughout the album making it the perfect opener to set the tone for what’s to come”.
