Sabaton has just released a new music video for a track off their latest album, The Great War, with “Devil Dogs”, compiled from footage of Sabaton’s most recent tour in North America. Pär Sundström says, “This video really shows how good the vibe is in the audience when we play. Young and old people singing together and jumping along to our songs every night. I think anyone can see that we love what we do and we cannot wait to do it all again”. You can check out the clip right here: https://youtu.be/sphuv7tTNKs. As for their grand-scale tour planned for Sweden in 2021, Sundström adds, “We realized that 23 shows were not enough to cover Sweden properly, so we decided to add a few more. The tour has now grown to 29 dates, making it our largest tour in Sweden so far and probably the largest tour by any metal band. Several of the already announced shows had sold out in the first week, and we are so damn happy and proud to see your enthusiasm about this tour!” Keep up with the band via: https://www.sabaton.net.

Classic Bay Area Thrashers Heathen have a new album on the way, with Empire of the Blind set for a September 18th release via Nuclear Blast Records – the record also features guest appearances from Gary Holt (Slayer, Exodus), Rick Hunolt (ex-Exodus), and Doug Piercy (ex-Heathen). The band says of their upcoming album, “We are very pleased to announce Empire of the Blind! It’s been another 10 years but we are finally back with a new Heathen album. Fine wine takes time! Everyone in the band worked their asses off on this record. Zeuss absolutely nailed it and more than realized our vision for the sound. Travis Smith perfectly captured the bleak atmosphere that we imagined for the artwork. It was a year in the making and we couldn’t be more proud of the outcome. The 1st single ‘The Blight’ is just the beginning… behold the rising Empire!” You can check out the lyric video for the track “The Blight” right here: https://youtu.be/cX1TbhGIBdc. Amaranthe has officially announced the upcoming release of their sixth studio album, Manifest, set for October 2nd via Nuclear Blast Records. The band says of the record, “Manifest is the latest step in the evolution of Amaranthe, and across the board it is the boldest statement: We are here to stay, we are utterly passionate about what we do and we will take no prisoners in our strive for musical excellence! An all-out metal rollercoaster, Manifest does not hold back in any regard – from the first second to the last, it is brimful with some of the heaviest Amaranthe riffs to date, soaring and emotional vocals and unrelenting metallic fury. We hope you will enjoy this album as much as we enjoyed making it!” Last week, Amaranthe premiered the music video for the first single, “Viral”, which you can check out right here: https://youtu.be/-A7BPXEBh1Q. Tetrarch recently revealed the music video for their single, “I’m Not Right”, and this week, the band is taking fans behind the scenes for a look at what went into making the video. Check it out here: https://youtu.be/c6bUuTvbZXc. “I’m Not Right” is a track off the band’s upcoming second studio album, Unstable, set to be released on October 2nd. Guitarist Diamond Rowe says, “We had a great time shooting the video for ‘I’m Not Right’ with director Scott Hansen. We told him exactly what we were going for and he was able to help us bring it to life on camera. We really wanted to send a message with this video and it’s great to see that people are really understanding where we were coming from with it. Our buddy Sam Shapiro came out and did all of the behind the scenes shooting and he really nailed it! He did the perfect job of capturing the events of the entire day and how this music video came to be”. For more on Tetrarch, head to: https://www.tetrarchmusic.com.
The latest signing to Napalm Records is an Austrian Symphonic Power Metal band by the name of Dragony, who are preparing to follow up on their 2018 release, Masters of the Multiverse. The band says of the signing, “Metal is coming home! We are more than thrilled to announce that Dragony has signed a new worldwide record deal with Napalm Records! As an Austrian band, it truly feels almost like a “homecoming” for us to not only work with one of the best labels for metal and rock music in the world today, but one that is also based in Austria. We feel that Napalm Records is the perfect place for our brand of tongue-in-cheek power metal, as the label is also home to many of our favorite acts from the genre. We are very much looking forward to releasing our upcoming fourth album through Napalm, and we are very thankful and excited about all the possibilities of this new collaboration for the next chapter in Dragony history. We stand – with forces united! Stay glorious!” For a taste of Dragony, check out the video for “If It Bleeds We Can Kill It” here: https://youtu.be/XPF-NUcI-N0, and learn more about the band at: https://www.facebook.com/officialdragony.
