Destruction has just released a cover of Accept’s “Fast As A Shark”, which you can check out with a visualizer video here: Schmier says, “When this song came out in 1982, it changed our world. There it was: The first German speed metal anthem and what an intense harmony solo!!!! I still love this track like on the first day I heard it, so to finally cover it was a manifested desire. We did it the Destruction way, ‘cause the original will always be the best version! This is a tribute to one of the originators of heavy music and shows how important this tune was for the whole metal world! Enjoy!” For more, head to:

Nile is preparing to release The Underworld Awaits Us All, their 10th album set for August 23rd via Napalm Records. This week, you can check out “To Strike With Secret Fang”, the second single with a lyric video here: Frontman Karl Sanders says, “‘To Strike with Secret Fang’ is a straight-to-the-point, uptempo blasting venomous assassin’s blade of a metal song. It’s the shortest track off the new record, ‘The Underworld Awaits Us All’, which of course in Nile fashion has several long-form complex metal compositions. But ‘Fang’ instantly goes right for the throat and will no doubt be a burner for live Nile shows. Speaking of, Nile is very pleased for the opportunity to once again share the stage with the guys in Six Feet Under and Psycroptic. We are also primed and ready to play some of the killer songs from the new Nile album for metal fans, as well as classic Nile tracks that have become live favorites over the years. We have no doubt that metal will take place!” For all the dates and details of the Revenge of the Underworld co-headline tour, visit:

Exhorder is getting ready to support the recent release of their 4th album, Defectum Omnium, with a slot on the Eyehategod U.S. summer tour. Frontman Kyle Thomas says of the tour: “It’s been 35 years since Exhorder and Eyehategod first shared the stage in the local New Orleans scene, but we finally are getting the opportunity to tour with each other! We couldn’t be happier and more grateful that Eyehategod are taking us out with them. I played in my first two bands with Jimmy, went to high school with Gary, and have known Mike since I was 15 years old. These guys are family to me, and the entire Exhorder team is stoked to burn down the highways with them as well. We’ll see everyone soon. Get your asses to the shows – this tour will be one for the books!!!” Keep up with the band via:
