Check out a music video for the fifth single, “Gravity”, right here: https://youtu.be/O1npCRnErxw?feature=shared. The band says of the track, “Balance is so difficult to keep as we navigate through desperate times, feeling lost and gasping as we ask for help. How do we deal with tough times? Do we ask for a hand? Or do we isolate ourselves from everything else to recollect in our own misanthropic golden cage? I hope you will love ‘Gravity’ as much as we do and that it will make you reflect on the time we have left and how to use it wisely”. Lacuna Coil is heading out on the road this spring alongside Machine Head, In Flames, and Unearth. For all the dates and details, head to: http://www.lacunacoil.com/.

The Halo Effect has just released their new album, March of the Unheard, via Nuclear Blast Records, with a new music video out now. Check out “What We Become” here: https://youtu.be/gN36BG-R7Iw?feature=shared. Frontman Mikael Stanne says, “The wait is over! Our second album drops today and we could not be more proud of this one. The level of confidence, experience and love of the craft is beyond evident in these songs and to finally be able to share it with all you feels amazing. First up though, just to make sure that you get the album on day one, is our brand new video for the song ‘What We Become’! This song is all about how our emotions can break us down and transform our very being through depression, self doubt and insecurity.  The video which we shot in an ice cold barn in the middle of nowhere with director Johan Carlén gives the song the right kind of mystique and sense of being forgotten or silenced. Enjoy!” For more on the band, visit: https://www.thehaloeffect.band/.

Rorschach Test has just announced the sale of a new limited edition hoodie to represent their track “Embracing the Shadow”, with 100% of the profits to be donated to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Los Angeles (spcaLA), in order to help keep animals who were displaced in the California wildfires safe, fed, and cared for until they can be reunited with their families. The band says, “Watching the devastation of the LA wildfires unfold, we felt compelled to act – not just for the people affected, but for the countless animals caught in the chaos. Their lives, often overlooked in the headlines, deserve our compassion and protection. In times like these, our humanity shines brightest when we extend our care to every living being in need. After speaking with friends in the LA area and they all recommended targeting donations to the SPCALA, a non-profit whose primary mission is making sure all animals are safe and rescued from potential harm”. The band is also holding a contest called “Find The Shadow”, where participants will watch the new “Embracing the Shadow” music video: https://youtu.be/EhJTb1mmq5c?feature=shared, and search for the cameo of Shadow the Cat, with a chance to win exclusive prizes: https://rorschachtest.com/find-the-shadow-contest.

This week, you can check out the music video for “Sunshine” here: https://youtu.be/-XItNDrBy4E?feature=shared. Frontman Cam Humphrey says, “‘Sunshine’ was written about my search for happiness and how nature can help facilitate that. “When I heard the finished mix of this song, it gave me chills. We had the pleasure of being able to have a real cello on ‘Sunshine’ which really brought the song to life. I would love to have a full orchestra on a LIN song one day”.
