The Contortionist is heading out on the road this fall, performing the albums Language and Exoplanet in their entirety, alongside Rivers of Nihil, who will perform their latest album The Work in its entirety. This trek will begin The Contortionist’s first live shows in two and a half years, kicking off on September 11th in Dallas and wrapping up on October 15th in the band’s hometown of Indianapolis. Guitarist Cameron Maynard says, “It’s been more than two years since we’ve performed for a live audience, so we chose this opportunity to go back and celebrate two of our albums properly. These albums changed our lives – allowing us to expand into who we are today. We cannot wait to share this experience with all of you”. Rivers of Nihil guitarist Brody Uttley says, “We can’t wait to hit the road with The Contortionist this September. On the heels of playing Where Owls Know My Name in its entirety in 2019, we’ve decided to offer our fans another full album live experience. The new songs that we’ve been playing from The Work have been going over in a huge way live, so we hope to make this one the most immersive live experiences that we’ve ever brought out. This one is sure to be one to remember. See you there”. Head to: for more.
