Rejoice!!!”, while Arch Enemy’s Michael Amott adds, “I honestly couldn’t be more excited about having Arch Enemy join forces with Behemoth, Napalm Death and Unto Others for a run of dates through North America in 2022! Hypocrisy has officially announced their return to North America as they debut their first studio album in eight years, Worship, which was released on November 26, 2021, via Nuclear Blast Records. With support from The Agonist, Carach Angren, and Hideous Divinity, the tour kicks off on April 29th and runs through to May 29th, wrapping up at Maryland Deathfest. Hypocrisy’s Peter Tägtgren says, “We’re happy to come back on tour in North America with the new album. New songs and old songs never played live before will be added to the setlist. And we’re happy to share the stage with Carach Angren, The Agonist, and Hideous Divinity”. The Agonist frontwoman Vicky Psarakis adds, “FINALLY! It’s been 5 years since our last North American tour. I’ve been staying active with my community through livestream performances on Twitch, but we all know there’s nothing that matches the energy of a live show. A big thanks to the mighty Hypocrisy for taking us with them on this tour. I can’t wait to see all your beautiful faces, along with this amazing lineup!” For all the info, visit:

Soulfly is set to kick off their 35-date U.S. tour in just a few weeks, and this week, the band has announced that Dino Cazares of Fear Factory will be joining the band for the run. Max Cavalera says, “Soulfly would like to welcome back our brother/legend Dino Cazares to share the stage once again with us! Round One was amazing! The Tribe in other cities will now get the chance to see this epic lineup, playing classic trax and some surprises from our new record!”, and Dino Cazares adds, “I will reenter the riff vortex with the Soulfly Tribe! I look forward to rejoining Max and La Familia on their U.S. tour, destroying stages with an avalanche of classic anthems and brand new songs”. Testament has made an official announcement about their lineup and upcoming tour, which you can read below:

“To all our Testament fans around the world,

First off, we are beyond grateful to have had Gene Hoglan behind our drum throne for ten years, several albums and countless tour dates. Unfortunately, our brother Gene’s additional tours and solo endeavors in 2022 conflict insurmountably with Testament’s rescheduled dates after two years of lost time due to the pandemic. Rather than Testament having to reschedule upcoming dates (yet again) or Gene having to cancel his own plans, we have decided to amicably part ways. We understand that this announcement will cause some disappointment but rest assured: There is no drama, only the best of vibes between us. As Gene embarks upon a new chapter, we thank him from the bottom of our hearts for bringing the most powerful drum beats to Testament and heavy metal. We have no doubt he will continue to bring it as only he can. Gene will always be family and we ask all of you to join us in wishing him only the best of luck going forward!

Also rest assure that we will continue to deliver yet another top notch addition to Testament and will reveal soon! We will see you all on tour very soon! – Testament

Testament is set to embark on the rescheduled The Bay Strikes Back tour alongside Exodus and Death Angel this spring. has all the info.

Amorphis is just about to release their new album, Halo, later this month via Atomic Fire Records, but in the meantime, the band has revealed a behind-the-scenes look at recording with Producer Jens Bogren in another episode of their studio documentary. Check it out here: Guitarist Esa Holopainen comments, “First I thought it would be a pretty natural continuation to Queen Of Time, but now as we heard the album, it definitely has a different touch in there. If I listen to the songs now, I think it’s slightly heavier in some parts – much heavier! – but it still has all those Amorphis elements in there. But I guess it will surprise people”. Amorphis is set to head out on their North American tour with support from Sylvaine and Hoaxed this spring – visit: for all the details.

Incite recently signed to Atomic Fire Records, and they have a new album set for release on March 25th. Wake Up Dead will feature 10 new tracks, including a feature from Max Cavalera on the song “War Soup”. Richie Cavalera says, “Metalheads, we’ve held back this beast long enough! It’s time! We’ve reworked the team, we’ve added more heavy metal, and couldn’t be more fired up! Our new album Wake Up Dead will drop with MinusHead/Atomic Fire Records for the first time ever! This album is exactly what the metal worlds needs to kick off 2022 heavy AF!”  Atomic Fire Records CEO and founder Markus Wosgien adds on the signing of Incite, “When Dez Fafara, singer of DevilDriver and manager of acts like Cradle Of Filth, Jinjer, and 8 Kalacas, introduced us the new material of Incite, we were simply blown away. Those five new tracks simply were the shit! Each track was super catchy, straightforward, and massively brutal and aggressive. I couldn’t believe that I missed this incredible band over all these years and had a new mission: The metal world needs to know about Incite and how great they are. So, the idea starts to grow to not only do an EP, but also add the best of their old tracks, remaster them, and demonstrate what Incite is about. This new release is one of the best modern thrash metal releases of all time. This is both fresh, unique, and still somehow old-school as fuck. Fronted by Richie Cavalera, this band has an amazing singer with a serious history and well known parents. Check them out; you all will love them”. Head to: for more.
