Kataklysm just revealed the first in a series of album trailers, discussing their upcoming 14th studio album, Unconquered. Check out frontman Maurizio Iacono talking about the album title here: Maurizio adds, “Unconquered is actually what Kataklysm is about. It’s not letting anything get in its way and not being dominated by any trends or by anybody. We just kept doing our thing. People can criticize and say whatever they want but in the end, we’re Kataklysm. We’re still here almost 30 years now. We still have some gas in the tank and you are gonna see it. This record is probably one of our strongest records we have done”. Onslaught’s new album Generation Antichrist is almost here, with a release date of August 7th via AFM Records. This week, the band has premiered a guitar playthrough video for the first single, “Religiousuicide”, which you can check out via Guitar World here: Guitarist Wayne Dorman says of the track, “Probably the most intense track from the Generation Antichrist album, it’s a full-on relentless MF from start to finish. We used a cool Chromatic pattern for the main riff before the fireworks kick in on the verses. It’s a hard workout to nail it super tight and I really had to get my shit together. Dave Garnett, our vocalist, shared the solo duties with me on this one. I really dig the contrast between the two styles, it’s definitely a scorcher. I’m gonna be tabbing this one out sometime soon for this who are interested”. Visit: for more.
